“ Such a good find!! My friends and I were craving soup after work and I had this place in my bookmarks for some time now since we work close by. We got there a little after opening around 5:15PM on a Wednesday. Thankfully we were seated right away but the restaurant filled up pretty quick. The restaurant itself isn't that big but has a good amount of seats. Staff were nice and helpful. I ordered the spicy miso broth and rib eye which was very tasty! So glad we discovered this spot, we definitely would come back! Only tricky thing could be parking as they share a small plaza with other businesses, but there is also free street parking if you don't get lucky with a spot in the lot! ”

“ This super unassuming strip mall restaurant has some of the best of shabu shabu I've ever had in Los Angeles with superlative Service. Don't even bother with you all you can eat hot pot places this place will fill you up. I was just incredibly impressed at how kind the staff were as well to my daughter and myself. We ordered two meat specials and I gave her all of the meat so that I could have mine vegan and they brought me out extra tofu and were super cool about the whole thing. ”

“ The service was great. They do have limited seating and it's quite popular on the weekend, so get there early or be prepared to wait a little bit. The quality of food is great for the price. I do personally prefer the karubi(beef short rib). I think it's a good fat to meat ratio. It's absolutely worth it to get a broth that's more than the regular shabu broth. I got the sukiyaki and it was sweet and imparted a lot of flavor into the vegetables and meat. There was table side freshly ground sesame seed, green onions, minced garlic, chili oil etc to be able to make the dipping sauces to your liking. They have the two basic dipping sauces, the soy based one and the peanut based one. The amount of vegetables is quite a lot. I would definitely go back, especially on a weekday since they have great weekday deals. It's not the best shabu I've had in my life, but for the price and quantity, you'll leave pretty happy with a full stomach. And for a non ayce individual serving shabu place, it's definitely topping some of the other places I've tried. ”

“ This is the most solid Shabu Shabu Spot in LA County Whyyyy? - appetizer selection is great - amount of veggies and noodles and freshness of both are good - broth selections are nice - meat selections are awesome (i order the vintage ribeye ) - sauce is solid, both ponzu and goma are legit -they still offer HOT DROPS and provide you the rotary of condiments (which MOST shabu places have discontinued) Service is good. The restaurant is usually pretty full, but there's no wait however last time I went we waited for over 30 minutes since there was a large party who made a reservation. The parking situation isn't usually a problem even though the lot is shared and small as there is a ton of street parking. Ambiance is nice, I enjoy how most of the seating isn't on high tops and there are a plenty of 4 tops so you can face your friends, family, or date when having a conversation. ”

“ A great shabu shabu place with reasonable prices! We all got the Angus Beef set which comes with vegetables, rice, udon, and the beef. The regular is definitely sufficient for most people but they have Large or XL for the very hungry folks. We learned they do specials on certain days (aka a few dollars off of a specific set each day of the week - Monday being the beef, and Thursday being the chicken). There are other deals too but I forget what they were. We get the kombu base which is perfectly pleasant but you can add a few dollars to get flavored broth. Overall, I'd definitely come back because it doesn't feel too greasy or oily (despite having nice and tender beef). ”

“ This place continues to be amazingly consistent with their food and their great service. They have several broths to choose from, my favorite is the spicy miso and their goma sauce is very flavorful. They have a sesame seed grinder and my favorite the pickled vegetables. ”

“ I don't know where they get their meat from but it's some of the most tender cuts I've had at a shabu shabu restaurant. I fully expected it to be tough but even after leaving it in the broth for minutes, it was succulent and tasty. I promise you even the cheapest cut of beef is worth it. I ordered the choice rib eye with spicy miso broth and my mom ordered the Angus beef prime with kelp broth. The spicy miso broth was flavorful enough that it didn't require any extra flavor but the kelp broth is very light so it needs some dipping sauces. We also tried the beef tataki roll which was surprisingly very delicious albeit crumbly since it didn't have good structural integrity. I also enjoyed the agedashi tofu which was sweet and served warm. This a great place to visit with a small group or even solo since I saw a few people do that. They have great deals on certain days and lunch specials too which we didn't get to try out. The workers were very sweet and it was overall a good experience. ”

“ Came here with my friends. They love this place because they get lamb. I on the other hand cannot eat lamb. They had a combo for 2 for $71. Soup,2 meat, appetizer, drinks and dessert. Chose sukiyaki and spicy miso. Got prime rib and short plate. I like the short pplate but it scared me when it said not all natural. For the appetizer we got the tempura. I wasn't a big fan of it. But I could've also been full and didn't want to eat more. for dessert we got churro and ice cream. They also have these spicy drops that you can add to your sauce and soup but you need to ask for it. I thought the combo was worth it for the price. ”

“ Came for dinner. We haven't been here in a few years so wanted to see if anything changed. They have lunch specials, dine in only as well as take out only bowl specials. However if you want great shabu shabu you come here! We got the $70.95 meal for two which includes an appetizer, two drinks, two soup bases, two meats (missing the premium meats), and a dessert. It's actually a good deal compared to a la carte! We got the XL sized meats and it's quite a bit. We were full afterwards. The shabu shabu comes with a preselected veggie plate with noodles, some rice, and goma and soy sauces. The ice cream desserts are actually pretty big for about $5. Parking is available in the attached strip mall lot or park in street when it gets full. ”
